Gypsies

Starring Chelsea Piers  & special guests Elle Emenopé, Bang. Musical drag drama revue.

ONE NIGHT ONLY June 23, the three top winners of last summer's hit show, "Audition: Provincetown" return to the Crown & Anchor for their prize, a sparkling gala evening with a special Provincetown edition of Chelsea Piers's popular XES Lounge (NYC) show, GYPSIES STARRING CHELSEA PIERS!

Chelsea Piers (Justin Nako) is a New York based drag artist well known to audiences in Provincetown, where she has done it all, houseboy, waitress, receptionist, you name it.  But her reputation as a talent to watch was achieved when, after dancing backup for two years for Ptown show Icons she starred in the main drag track headlining nine performances a week. Chelsea has been a finalist of “So You Think You Can Drag Season Three (New World Stages, NYC) and has won a GLAM Award for Breakthrough Artist, honoring the best of the best in New York’s gay nightlife and cabaret.

Chelsea's special guests and co-stars Jackie Coxx and Nomi Sas will be with her for this exclusive one night only Provincetown appearance.

2nd Prizewinner Elliott Reiland (Elle Emeneopé) took Ptown stages and clubs by storm last summer with her cutting edge blend of drag costume, avant garde makeup, original music performance, and visually arresting dance movement.  A professional member of the corps de ballet of the NYC Metropolitan Opera, Elle Emenopé debuted as one of Ptown's sensational new stars last year.  This is a rare chance to see her again extending the boundaries of art, talent, beauty and jaw-dropping performance art.

3rd Prizewinner Chris Kosiavelon (performing as "Bang") is a Provincetown sweetheart and popular bartender, known for his out-of-nowhere triumph bringing to the stage last summer an emotionally devastating interpretation of the coming out scene from A Chorus Line in which Paul, a shy young Puerto Rican man, recounts how he became a drag queen and the heartbreak resulting when his family discovered him performing.  For this one night only GYPSIES STARRING CHELSEA PIERS! we'll witness the further emergence of this fresh talent on a Provincetown stage in a new drag persona named "Bang."
